Welcome to the world of skydiving!

You are about to start a very sensational sport and 4xtremetime Skydive Centre is going to surround you with the best care, so you can get to known your new passion on an efficient en safe way.

We offer you different ways to get familiar with the sport:

  • AFF-familiarisation jump ( 1 jump, 2 instructors)
  • AFF-formation (7 jumps till graduated)
  • Static Line (like in the movies)

AFF-familiarisation jump?

You want some challenges? Like…your own parachute on your back, making the decision to jump out of the plane, taking a stable position while free falling, being aware of the altitude, communicating with your instructors, open the parachute by yourself, fly and land it on a safe way, are some of those challenges waiting for you.

You start with a theoretical formation of 7 hours, going trough all aspects of skydiving.

  • Everything about the design and development of the equipment
  • All aspects of the free fall
  • Steering, having full control and landing of the parachute

After this formation you ascend with both your instructors to 14OOO feet. They keep you company during the exit and free fall, by giving corrections and guarding your security. After a safe opening, you pilot your parachute to the landing zone, in permanent radio contact.

I you like we can make a full documentary of your adventure on DVD.

You have found the taste of more after this one?

You want to go harder, faster and higher?

Without any extra formation you can continue to the AFF-formation.

AFF formation?

You want to learn how to skydive real fast and safe?

AFF stands for Accelerated Free Fall and it is the most progressive way to discover free fall by yourself!

AFF formation teaches you:

  • Everything about the design, maintaining and development of skydive-equipment
  • All aspects of exits and free fall
  • Steering, having full control and landing of  the parachute
  • How to fold big square canopies

The formation includes a big ground formation and 7 test jumps. Before and after each jump there is a solid briefing.

AFF is a formation program existing out of 7 different levels and came into existence by Ken Coleman in the early seventies. He developed the program in association with USPA (United States Parachutist Association) and added some of the latest techniques to improve both students progressing and safety. At each level you will advance to a higher level. (feeling stability, learn to start and stop movements, fall rate, saltos,..) If you succeed, which means you pas all 7 levels, you are able to jump solo and to refine your skills in the many different disciplines skydiving offers. Formation skydiving, Canopy Formation, Free Fly, Free Style, Sky surf, Wing suit, Accuracy, Style,…

And what done after my formation?

Now you can jump happy all over the entire world on every dropzone…

If you want to stay home and upgrade your skills or you want to achieve a new discipline?

4xtremetime offers you different kind of coaching, anyhow it all starts with 1 on 1 coaching.

We also offer windtunnelcamps but only on reservation.

Static Line?

Static Line or automatic opening is the most traditional way of formation.

Everybody has seen movies with soldiers jumping out of planes. After the exit the parachute deploys immediately and they float trough the air. The static line familiarisation jump offers you this kind of feeling, except you will jump a square, dirigible parachute instead of the well-known round ones.

The formation is spread over 2 days. The first day you will get 6 hours of theoretical formation learning all aspects of piloting a square canopy. The next day we go for the jump.

After a short refreshing of the mind the plane will take you till 3500feet (1200meters). Once the plane is exactly above the drop zone, you will receive some last orders of your instructor and jump. Your parachute will open automatically, as been attached to the plane by cable. Now you can pilot your canopy direction landing zone, and land safely with radio guidance.

Doing static line you have no free fall, not yet at least. If you want to continue this way of formation we can make you a training schedule.

If you can prove after six automatic jumps that you are able to open your parachute by yourself, you can make your first free fall jump accompanied by an instructor. From now on every jump will be from a bit higher till you reach 14000feet.

Security:

Skydiving is…”Jumping out of a perfectly working airplane…”

According to us, the definition of a perfect jump is:

With a strong backpack (called harness), which includes a main and reserve canopies, leaving an airplane on a safe height and open the main chute at secure height. Afterwards you pilot the parachute on a well-considered way to a safe landing.

To achieve this all you will be accompanied by competent and experienced instructors. Discipline, clear rules and be good aware of your own acts can make our sport safe.

Beside the basic safety regulations of the federation, 4xtremetime adds some extra rules for all safety:

  • Safety comes first: Our instructors satisfy to all qualities to accompany yourself optimally. They have a ongoing syllabus and are passionate by the sport.
  • We demand the use of 2 altimeters (audible and visual).
  • You have to receive a clear answer to all your questions.
  • A checklist will be followed-up by yourself and your instructor.
